OFC 2026 Exhibition Announcement (Los Angeles, USA)
～Showcasing the EW Series: the latest alignment stage and controller set supporting the photonic integration field～
Suruga Seiki Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Shizuoka City, Shizuoka, Japan; hereinafter “Suruga Seiki”) will exhibit at OFC 2026, which will be held in Los Angeles, USA, from March 17 (Tue) to March 19 (Thu), 2026.
Suruga Seiki offers a wide range of products for the rapidly growing photonic integration field, supporting diverse needs from R&D to mass production. At this exhibition, we will showcase the EW Series, an alignment stage and controller set designed for optical waveguide alignment, with a live system demonstration. Following our participation last year, we will introduce the latest model with enhanced integration and flexibility.

Exhibiting automatic alignment core unit (EW) at Suruga Seiki at BICOP2025
In 2025, Suruga Seiki Co., Ltd.'s SI Division participated as a sponsor and exhibited products at BICOP (British and Irish Conference on Optics and Photonics), held in London, UK from December 16th to 18th. BICOP is the UK and Ireland's leading international conference in the fields of optics and photonics, innovations and development results. This year, there were many presentations on data centers, AI, quantum, and silicon photonics, which are areas where market expansion is expected. At the event, we were able to directly explain to many visitors about the automatic alignment core unit we developed for R&D purposes that can be used to evaluate silicon photonics chips, which sparked their interest. We also showed off some new options.
We provide time value to our customers in the European region through our products.

Optical Communication & Silicon Photonics WorkshopSuruga Seiki APAC & Taiwan president Alex Wu was invited to be the keynote speaker from the technical forum of “2023 Optical Communication & Silicon photonics Workshop” hosted by ACE Solutions in July. Silicon photonics technology is using for not only at Data Center sever but also for electronics and Bio Photonics sensor, EV LiDAR, and new generation of AI HPC server. Alex introduced on how Suruga solutions meet customer requirements of wafer/chip level testing, package by Suruga’s key components, alignment module and alignment system. These processes could be from RD, engineering pilot-run to mass production. Suruga Seiki anticipates to build up the technical &business model ecosystem together with Taiwan partners so as to contribute our efforts for next golden era of semiconductor industry.

The embedded software for the Smart LAC H410 image processing unit has been updated!Thank you for using SURUGA SEIKI optical instruments.
We have recently updated the embedded software for the image processing unit of the Smart LAC H410 series.
Please be advised the notes on the latest version are as follows (ver1.2.1).

Smart LAC H410 series image processing functionality improvements

■Newly available functionalities:
1. “Order by peak value” and “Order by total count value” added to light spot labeling rules
2. New commands to check “peak value,” “size,” and “total count value” of light spots
3. Two new automatic dimming logics added to increase dimming speed
