At the exhibition, we showcased standard and newly developed stages from the EW Series, an alignment stage and controller set for optical waveguide alignment. In 2025, Suruga Seiki Co., Ltd.'s SI Division participated as a sponsor and exhibited products at BICOP (British and Irish Conference on Optics and Photonics), held in London, UK from December 16th to 18th.　BICOP is the UK and Ireland's leading international conference in the fields of optics and photonics, innovations and development results. This year, there were many presentations on data centers, AI, quantum, and silicon photonics, which are areas where market expansion is expected. At the event, we were able to directly explain to many visitors about the automatic alignment core unit we developed for R&D purposes that can be used to evaluate silicon photonics chips, which sparked their interest. We also showed off some new options.
We provide time value to our customers in the European region through our products.

■ Reason for Change
Due to the discontinuation of the current cable by our supplier, we will switch to an alternative cable once our existing inventory is depleted.

■ Model Number
There will be no change to the model number.

■ Details of Change
There are differences in the shielding, jacket color, and allowable current.
All other specifications remain identical.

・Jacket Color: Navy → Black
・Allowable Current (A): 1.00 → 1.40

Please note that these changes do not affect the product's core performance or compatibility, and it can be used in the exact same manner as before.

■ Timing of Change
The transition will take place sequentially from April 2027 onwards, as soon as the stock of the current product is depleted.

We would like to announce that we will be discontinuing the sales of the VC2 Series (LED Light Source).

Please be advised that there are no successor or alternative products available for this model. We highly appreciate your understanding in this matter.
